Currants are tiny, dark, intensely flavoured raisins made from a dried, small, black variety of grape that was first grown in Corinth, Greece.

High in Vitamin C and B, currants also burst with iron and antioxidants and are a brilliant sweet tangy addition to bakery products, mincemeat, preserves, syrups, liquor and much more!
